I am a member of the South African Board of Companion Animal Professionals(SABCAP) certifying me as a dog behaviour consultant. I have completed and am certified as a dog behaviour consultant and am currently completing a international dog training course on training, learning theory and behaviour to further my knowledge.

Option: 1

Group training consist of 2 - 4 dogs in a class taking place at dog-care-centre. Ages from 4 months and older. We work in two modules as listed below. Classes are 1 hour each with time for dogs to socialize if possible. (This is not puppy socialising class but manners class). Group training is aimed at all Northern breeds like Huskies and Malamutes only.

First module - Basic Manners Class: Consist of 3 classes. This is the beginners class for dog and or owner so we discuss what positive reinforcement is, work on the look at me cue,sit on your mat, down, meet and greet and the stay.

Cost: - R350.00

Second module: Consist of 3 classes. This is our intermediate group. In these classes we work on lead walking, recall training (calling your dog back to you), leave cue and extending the stay cue.

Third module: Consist of weekly classes where you pay a monthly fee of R400 and we work on no jumping on people and giving cues from a distance to your dog. A minimum of 1 month is required, but can be an ongoing training enrollment.

Cost: - R300.00 if you have completed module 1 and R350.00 if you do not need to do module 1. Dog will however be assessed to determine if module 1 is not needed.

Option 2:

Individual training set up either at dog-care-centre or your home via appointment prior to training. The first assessment is anything from 40 minutes to an hour and a half depending on the dog and there after a training session where we work on a specific training situation or unwanted behaviour with one dog at a time.

Cost: - First session @ R300 and there after R200 per hour excluding travel.

Option 3:

Online training consist of questions and assessment with possible solutions. This option is open to all breed of dog. E-mails usually will have 2 follow up e-mails.

Cost: - R150 additional cost can be added after 4 e-mails @ R50 each. Payable up front.

Option 4:

Reactive dog training also known as Leash lungers anonymous. We work with dogs that are triggered by other dogs, humans or cars etc and then either bark, whine or lunge forward.Please see the link below for more details.

Option 5:

Board and train is a service where we train your dog basic behaviours like not jumping on people, sit, down, stay etc while boarding with us. This service takes place over a minimum period of 5 working days. No training over weekends. We do training with your dog during the day and on collection spent 30 minutes with you discussing what we have done over this period with your dog. Some dogs may need 2 - 3 weeks to fully establish NEW behaviours, this can be done at an additional cost.

Cost: - This package is available at R700 for the 5 days which is over 40% discount on training. Extra days over the 5 days @ R100 per day excluding boarding rate. All prices listed excludes boarding rates.

Option 6:

Nose work - something fun and stimulating to do with your dog. Dogs learn to use their ability to smell to find treats and scents. This is a great way to work with your dog by stimulating it mentally. Also something that you can do in doors. We work with one dog at a time. Cost: - R500 for 3 sessions.
