Blue in Alaska

I don't yet any 1 story too funny to share but I will throw in a daily routine that we go through.

Our dog, Blue, loves to sleep in the bed with her daddy (my husband). He has allowed her to snuggle with him and she does it well. Since he always retreats to the bedroom to watch some television before I do, she has made it a habit to jump in the bed with him - on MY side of course.

So each night I walk into the room as she is curled up on my side, with her head on my pillow. I say, "Blue get down." And she lifts her head, looks at my husband, licks his face and places her head back on the pillow - as if to say "I am allowed to be here." It is the cutest thing to see, although she doesn't like to give me my spot back!

It usually always ends with my husband having to tell her to get up - which of course she obeys immediately - and then she retreats to her normal sleeping spot in our bedroom, on the floor - on HIS side of the bed! ;-)
