Guidance for dog care and training making living with your dog easy
My first dog was a Welsh Pembroke Corgi named T.O.
Dog care has always been a priority for me...
My concept of it soon changed when we got our first big working dog!
I always wanted a big dog. When I got married my husband and I decided to get a Labrador. I was so excited.
Never knowing what awaited me...
He quickly went from being a cute little puppy to a huge active dog. He destroyed our whole garden and took bites out of our car.
I realized that he needed more exercise.
I needed to be able to train him to understand different cues in order for me to be able to give him more exercise.
It was no easy task with a quick fix solution.
As we got settled in and Gephetto our Labrador calmed down I got my first Alaskan Husky.
It was back to basics...
I started to learn as much about her breed and the dog powered sport called mushing.
After Ice was about a year old I adopted Decota my second Alaskan Husky. Decota needed more care and training than I ever had to give. But this time around I could apply all that I have learned.
I want to share with you through this web site what I have come to know as my life living with dogs.
